Lance Stringer

began work in the family business when it first began, aged 11. Now the owner, Lance has a passion for combining old fashioned customer service with modern technologies and procedures. Lance and his wife Madeleine (Maddie) found that they shared a love of animals when they met and have shared many adventures around Australia with their previous dogs Jessie and Cookie Monster at their side. Wally the Labrador is their latest companion after adoption from the RSPCA.

joined us as our first staff member at our new facility at Maddingley bringing many years of experience in quality control systems as well as a caring nature. Tony’s guard dog is Arnold, the Major Mitchell Cockatoo, who squawks whenever someone is at the gate. Arnold also fiercely defends his territory from inquisitive fingers. Tony’s family has also adopted Poppy, a 6 year old Golden Labrador who like many Labradors enjoys her food. Dinner time at Tony’s house is always greeted with an impressive Olympic medal winning leap by Poppy. Poppy also enjoys the company of Maddie and Lance’s labbie Wally when he comes for a sleepover.


is a recipient of an Australian Police Medal which he received during his time with the Victorian Police Force. Ken’s family have adopted a 7 year old tortoise shell cat called Missy. Missy occasionally shares her house with Alvin, the Boss cat who belongs to Ken’s daughter when she comes to visit. Ken also used to breed Australian Zebra finches. Pets have always been an important part of their family however Missy and Alvin will now have to compete for attention with the birth of Ken’s first grandchild.

is our Coordinator, John lives locally with his family including his lovely dogs Max and Riley, Cats Ash and Banjo and the family horses Tonks and Bobby.


is our West area Manager covering Melbourne Metro to Bacchus Marsh and Gisborne. At home Vanessa is kept busy on her farm which includes a goat, 5 chooks, 5 dogs and 2 horses. Vanessa regularly helps out at horse competitions and provides horse riding lessons.


attends to all our accounts and procurement. At home Belinda lives in a household run by her puppy Jedda, Jedda is a 12 month old Neo Mastiff who is very lazy and good natured considering she is bossed around by everyone.

is our North Area Manager, covering Greenvale to Yarra Junction and up through the Hume to Seymour. At home James and his wife care for their two cats Annabelle and Tinkerbell who love to greet you at the front door. James recently had to use our service after losing his dog Billie of 14 years, he understands with compassion the loss of a pet.


is our Development Manager and came to us with 16 years of professional experience in pet care. At home Rachelle cares for her two sons and two elderly cats Leo and Angel. She also owns Brody the blind rescue dog and her new cavoodle puppy Ella.


is our South Area Manager, covering Sandringham to Pakenham and down to the Peninsula. Previously a member of the Victoria Police Force, Mark understands how to assist those in difficult situations and grief. Mark has always had rescue animals at home with his family.

Mary updated

works as one of our administration assistants and helps to look after our clients and their beloved pets. Mary grew up surrounded by animals. Jasmin, her 6 year old Japanese Spitz rules the roost at home and sleeps in bed with Mary and her husband, regularly doing her best to push Mary’s good natured husband out of bed.

Vaughn website

is our South West Area Manager, covering Melbourne Metro through to Warrnambool and Ballarat/Bendigo. He has been caring for vets, clients and their pets for 7 years within our industry. His friendly nature makes him an asset to his professional role. At home Vaughn cares for his mature aged Staffy Geisha who rules the house.

prepares the ashes and engraving of our clients beloved pets. Helen is a pet lover and enjoys dog agility with Raffi her Tasmanian Smithfield.

Mick - Updated

is one of our caring crematorium officers who takes his role very seriously. Having pets himself, Mick understands the importance of reassurance for clients. Mick also assists with the collections of horses and pets on the weekends. We are extremely proud to have Mick on our team.

is one of our Crematorium Managers. Having run his own business before, Dave pays a lot of attention to detail and always thinks a few steps ahead which is essential with our type of service.

Garry S

is just the sort of caring and dependable guy that our clients appreciate and spends much of his time on the road looking after pets from our country vets. Garry and his wife Robyn lost Coco their 15 year old Maltese/Shitzu cross earlier this year. Coco was a special member of the Sanderson family. On the same day that Coco passed away, Garry was generous enough to help another grieving client who had just lost her pet. We are proud to have Garry represent Edenhills.


is a born and bred local in the area who joined us with an eye for detail and a great work ethic. Recently Sharon and her family lost both her Beagle/Kelpie dogs – Bella & Demi who were sisters within weeks of each other. Sharon has placed some memorial urns in the garden where they used to have great fun taking turns in chasing each other.
